Our Big Day
Wednesday, March 15, 2017
Everything was more beautiful than I ever could have imagined. We did so much DIY that there were tons of hours spent by family and friends behind the scenes. I’d love to share with you one of the most important days of my life thus far. Many more to come.. but here is our big day!
Yes.. we did this after our make up and hair was done! Let's just say we looked like monkey after this photo picking confetti out of everyones hair. Totally worth it.
Let's just say his getting ready process was much more laid back than ours!
Nerves are kicking in as we ride over for the first look. Prayers and goofing around are needed to keep me calm.

The emotions in this moment were so crazy I was actually shaking. SO much was leading up to this moment.
...still shaking but trying to look pretty... haha
My husband is the sexiest man alive. #Truth
Dresses under $100! It can happen ladies! (Almost all of them under $100😉)
Final touches before the wedding..
the kippah
the veil
the prayers
And the Ceremony Begins
circled 7 times as Jewish tradition.. he had to help with counting.
For you to understand these next three pictures, you must watch the linked video at the end of this post. The ceremony was one of our favorite moments of the wedding because it was flat out hilarious. Let's just say our Rabbi (my Uncle) messed up a couple times with the sequence of events for the ceremony. Sometimes you just gotta laugh....
Meet our family.. it keeps growing!
Yes, I married into a family of giants.
da brodas!
The three couples that are in the same family and all got married in one year! Craziness!
So we just got hitched and now I'm walking Elliot over to a surprise. It's a long story but my man loves large birds like falcons or hawks. Well after a couple calls to tri-state clubs and zoo's. I got one for our wedding day! Watch the sequence of events. He had no clue!
(Oh and yes, we both love cigars. We are walking over to the DIY cigar lounge to take photos. Really, this is a cover as I want to show him his surprise!)
Meet Wendy
I loved her.. but that doesn't mean I didn't keep my distance haha
Family Portrait
For the cigar lounge.. I thrifted for a about 4 months to build an entire set up from scratch. It was perfect!
the first dance to Lee Brice "I don't dance"
and the party begins
Watch the whole wedding here!!!!
Special thanks to...
My day of coordinators / friends Joy and Jen. Because of you, I was able to forget about the details and enjoy everything. Thank you for one of the most important gifts that day.
Thank you to all of our family for helping cut wine classes, make the chuppah, cut and sew fabric for the chuppah, help with signage, friends who gave frames, friends who sold me their wedding supplies.
Thank you to all of our vendors!
